Who can match Davido when it comes to campaign pull? That is the One-million question lingering on the lips of Nigerians as the country inches closer to 2027.

Davido is no longer just an Afrobeats superstar. After the 2026 Osun governorship election, his growing influence in Nigerian politics is becoming impossible to ignore.

The singer stood firmly behind his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, throughout the campaign and turned his celebrity presence into a major source of attention, excitement and youth engagement.

When the results came and Adeleke secured his second term, Davido celebrated with a simple but powerful message: “We did it, Uncle.”

And that moment captured something bigger than a family victory.

Davido has what many politicians desperately want, massive visibility, millions of followers, youth appeal and the ability to turn a single appearance or social-media post into a national conversation.

He doesn't need a political office to command attention.

He already has the microphone.

He already has the audience.

And he already understands the language of young Nigerians.

Of course, celebrity popularity alone cannot win an election. Political structures, grassroots mobilisation, credible candidates and issues still matter.

But imagine combining those things with Davido's star power.

That is where the real political value lies.

With 2027 approaching, one question is becoming increasingly interesting; WHO CAN MATCH DAVIDO'S CAMPAIGN PULL IN NIGERIA?

Burna Boy? Wizkid? Rema? Another celebrity? Or perhaps nobody?

Whatever the answer, one thing is clear: Davido has moved beyond entertainment. His influence now reaches into culture, youth mobilisation and Nigerian political conversations.

And after Osun 2026, politicians may be watching him a little more closely.
