The Chief of Defence Staff, CDS, Gen. Olufemi Oluyede, says military strength alone cannot defeat terrorism without protecting civilians and building community trust.

Mr Oluyede, represented by the Chief of Defence Administration, Rear Admiral Gideon Kachim, stated this at the opening of Human Security and Civil-Military Cooperation Training Workshop recently in Abuja.
