Saudi Attack on Yemen Market Kills 14, Including Three Children

A Saudi attack on a market on Wednesday in Yemen’s al-Jawf province has killed 14 people, including three children and two women, while 15 others, among them several women and children, were wounded.

According to Iran Press News Agency, Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a senior member of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, condemned the attack, saying the Saudi ruling establishment’s indifference to the killing of innocent Muslims demonstrated its lack of connection to Islam.

Al-Bukhaiti also criticised the silence of regimes, governments and organisations over the killings, accusing them of complicity in the bloodshed of the Yemeni people.

The reported attack adds to concerns over civilian casualties in Yemen, where markets and other civilian areas remain vulnerable amid the country’s prolonged conflict.
