The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), FCT Council, has congratulated Dr Femi Lanre-Oke, founder and Senior Presiding Pastor of Jesus Praise Evangelical Ministry International, Abuja, on the church’s 10th anniversary and eighth convention, themed “HEBRON 2026.”
In a congratulatory statement signed by its Chairman, Felix Ojo, the chapel described the double celebration as a milestone marking a decade of dedicated service to God and humanity, as well as excellence and teamwork.
The chapel commended the ministry for its contributions to society over the past 10 years through various initiatives, including mission centres, scholarships, leadership development, marriage seminars, mentorship programmes, publishing, educational institutions, social empowerment outreaches and business grants.
It also highlighted the ministry’s other programmes, including the FLO Leadership Academy, FLO Marriage Seminar, FLO Mentorship Programme, Davidstone School of Ministry, Still Waters Foundation, Staystrong Conferences and TED Women Initiative, noting that these initiatives had touched lives and helped nurture a new generation of Nigerian leaders.
The NUJ Correspondents’ Chapel further praised the resilience and commitment that had transformed what began as a simple family gathering into a global outreach, saying the ministry had promoted moral values, shaped character and equipped young leaders to take responsibility and positively influence their families, workplaces, ministries and society.
According to the statement, the chapel shares the ministry’s vision of a church that serves the people, particularly the oppressed, discouraged, overlooked, rejected and disadvantaged, by providing relief, support and comfort to humanity.
The chapel also expressed appreciation to Dr Lanre-Oke and the ministry for their cooperation over the years and their commitment to the welfare of journalists.
It expressed optimism about strengthening the existing relationship through deeper partnerships and collaboration in pursuit of their shared commitment to public service.
The statement concluded with prayers for continued growth, greater dedication to the ministry’s calling and many more years of service to God and humanity.
“Happy anniversary and happy HEBRON 2026!” the statement said.
